KITE SARDEGNA is the ORIGINAL Crew of Porto Botte. It's an association formed by a group of guys united by friendship and a kitesurf passion that lives in southern Sardinia. Our head quarter is in the Golfo Palmas. Our mission is to promote sports, tourism and kitesurf practice in our land: Sulcis Iglesiente. We organize courses, events, exhibitions, and we have fun with fantastic sessions all together. Anyone who wants to join the Crew is welcome.

On this site you will find all the information you need about kite in southern Sardinia, spots, accomodations etc. You will find that our area, less known and visited than the North, is in fact the Costa Smeralda of wind! With us you can kitesurfing all over the year thanks to the mild climate and the constant wind presence in all seasons and from all directions. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, in Porto Botte beach, we had an average of 209 days with wind> 15 knots = 57%, in fact one day yes and one not for the whale year! If you add the numerous other spots along the coast, you can kite almost 365 days a year!
